“The Happiest Day of Olli Mäki” directed by Juho Kuosmanen wins Un Certain Regard Grand Prix at Cannes 2016!

Feeling happy and honoured to be part of this film.

Director Juho Kuosmanen and producer Jussi Rantamäki from Aamu Film Company asked me in early spring 2015 to do the casting for the film. I started to search interesting and authentic 60`s faces: actors, real professional boxers,  high society looking people, workers and people from the streets. All kind of people that would be good for this kind of film, that has a very specific voice and shows the real world.

It was my first time working as a Casting Director and an Assistant director in a feature film. Beside main roles, there was about 30 supporting roles and nearly 1000 people as extras!
